And the first art of the year is
Be in control of your destiny.
New Year's Eve meditation: It was an experience to read the evening chants. Not sure what about blood and knives scared Virgil according to Mark.
Yesterday when it was still 2009, I received my state tax forms today! Perhaps government has gotten organized and now has its act together.

if I posted like I did the past two years. I guess you could say I've migrated to Facebook. I'll still post art though:
Would Night Garden Lady be appropriate?

This is a Christmas present to me that I'd like to share with all of you:

Thank you Desiree for your time. You really lit up the Christmas lights inside me!
I see both life and death, but is that a guardian angel looking from above, influencing the artist? The artist must have many thought going on in his mind that it's driving him crazy. Or is his head exploding. In any case, the style reminds me of .
First of all, what's he doing in outer space anyways? Where would he fly to where the North Pole is less inconvenient? Second, if there's a rocket, why does he need reindeer?

I finally got to see Up. A twist of The Incredibles, the idolized was the villian and now the idol was the villan.
The kid was cute, but the movie still could've been done without Ellie gone. It would've been much happier.

Last night I had buffalo burgers. The aroma was too sweet - I had to goad them up with spice. It took some used to, but I finished them. Anyone know if buffalo is more healthier than beef? Definitely saw less grease in the pan.

They say Christmas is the season to be jolly, but anyone who signs on the internet and sees a search engine page probably knows that's not the case with Tiger Woods. Why is his marriage making him the top storied celebrity? Is it because it is the holiday season?

Okay, so I ripped a tune from my deleted Shannon "love goes all the way" CD
dq4lPyBLHCK9d)C!~~_12.JPG) and all the tracks were recognized on the iTunes database (artist, album, track title, etc.) This was an original pressing from 1986, but we didn't have iTunes back then. How on earth would the tracks be recognized on something 23 years old? I understand new pressings, even with older music, could be coded, but man, this just freaked me out!

I always feel this is a nice place to do a Christmas stroll... until I remember there's a reflection. Wonder what the pic would look like if the water froze over. Reflections add more civilization to pictures. Not sure what the environment would look like if the surface weren't water. By the way, anyone know where this is?
This is messing with my dreams. http://www.maxperformance.com/mhp/myweb.php?hls=1163 Literally. I can remember them well and they're weirder than before. I also wonder if this is responsible for me falling asleep for the first time in the small shrine. I didn't I could do it in such a claustrophobic space. Debates whether we can be an actual shrine or not. We don't follow the path literally like the true Sakyong.
I finished my sewing project, drawstring pants. It took until 1:20 or about 5 hours class time, but I finished.
This week there was a protest to pull the troops out of Afghanistan. I did not see a sign that said "Iraq" on it. Is it true Iraq is the forgotten war? Are any out there for pulling troops out of both places?
Snow Leopard slowdown Even with Rosetta, classic Neverwinter Nights, an original Power PC chip game, freezes from time to time. Anyone else experience graphics problems with OS X 10.6.2?
A cool G.I. Joe toy?
Would be the same size as a Trouble Bubble, a single man vehicle.
Ever had a routine day where you had to change it?
Skipped meditation yesterday.
Had to both iron and shop for clothes.
Ate at Bluewater Grill again. There fish is excellent.
Jem's mother visited over Thanksgiving Saturday. Well, not Jacqui Benton, but mother in the sense of creator:

#14 - She'd drop anything for us.
Please don't forget to save lives. Give the gift of life. Thanks and God bless.
Went from the donation center to the record show which meant I took a different route. Saw a lovely neighborhood. Would have loved to capture a pic of one of the houses and its scenery had my camera been ready. This neighborhood stroll reminded me of Christopher White's superbowl party to Portland, to 80's music.
At the record show, I got a 2 CD set of synthesized music. Nothing special so far, but very new-agey.
Napped to recuperate. Had pizza at the parlor once again, sausage this time. A bitter spice that stands out by itself, but other than that, is great on pizza.
Grocery shopped and am retiring for the evening.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Price-to-PepsiCo-for-Not-law-3214509113.html?x=0&.v=1 Cherry flavored colas don't matter as far as brand is concerned, but for the straight cola, it's Pepsi definitely over Coke.
Isn't it sad when rock stars have to use cigarettes to get back in the picture?
Both of those men almost died from cigs.
Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant Previews got me on this one. It was not as good as the previews made the movie out to be. The story was complete, but it just didn't interest me. Not sure it's popular enough to have a sequel.

Spent maybe half a day wiping walls and desk surfaces. Especially when you take pride knowing you did work that normally only third world immigrants would take. Gives ya that spark of integrity.
Reminds me of the back of ZZ Top's "Afterburner" album. So 1985ish.
Transformers is available on DVD now. Unfortunately it's not any better or worse than the original movie:
There's the opening scene, the giant planet Unicron with an even larger solar flare or whatever in the background.
I got mu flu shot Monday and didn't feel it. I guess the blood donation pokes in a more sensitive spot.
Where the Wild Things Are All I remember is the kid's name was Max. I didn't like this movie. I looked like a bunch of lessons for kids in one theme of a movie. I fell asleep during bits of it. The borefest to me may be appealing to others, but it's like listening to Meredith Monk's album. You can't appreciate it from the casual standpoint.
http://www.meetup.com/Phoenix-Jem-tunes-toons/boards/thread/7877118/ And to think JemCon isn't even a month old yet.
